Thermal Lab Beads™

  Replacing lab bath water or ice with tecaLAB™ Thermal Lab Beads™ greatly reduces both the risk of

  contamination and the maintenance associated with traditional baths.

  tecaLAB™ Thermal Lab Beads™ are an alternative to water or ice as used in traditional lab baths and

  ice buckets. Made of high purity aluminum, our beads are included in tecaLAB™ Electric Ice Bucket

  products and are available for sale separately. The beads are less susceptible to contamination

  compared with water. Using tecaLAB™ Thermal Lab Beads™ in place of water can eliminate a common

  source of sample contamination thus preventing loss of materials and data. Samples easily slide into

  the beads and remain in place until you move them- no more floating samples.

  They provide stable support for most glass and plastic sample vessels, eliminate racks and reduce

  messy dripping water. tecaLAB™ Thermal Lab Beads™ are environmentally friendly.

  They are made of recyclable material, they eliminate the need to use harmful germicides to clean the

  bath and they are more energy efficient to use than water.

  When tecaLAB™ Thermal Lab Beads™ are used in place of water or ice, baths can be left on indefinitely.

  There is no worry about melting ice, burn out from evaporating water or frequent bath cleaning.

ICE-STIR Dual Cooling Stirrer

 The Stirring Electric Ice Bucket, ICE-STIR, is a bench top product that cools vessels below ambient

 temperature while maintaining mix using magnetic stir bars. The stirring bath uses aluminum

 Thermal Lab Beads™ instead of water to conduct the heat away from your beaker or vial and magnetic

 stir rods to stir the contents. The stirring bead bath keeps samples cool with no temperature

 control from 10 to 20 °C below ambient using thermoelectric (peltier) technology. The two  magnetic

 stirring zones are independently controlled providing the user with precision control for each.

AHP-301MSP Small Heating/ Cooling Stirrer

 The Magnetic Stirring Plate, AHP-301MSP, is a bench top product that cools and heats many sizes and

 types of vessels while mixing the contents. The stirring bead bath uses aluminum Thermal Lab Beads

 instead of water to conduct the heat away from your beaker or vial and a magnetic stir bar to stir

 the contents.

 The AHP-301MSP can maintain the samples from 0 °C to 50 °C using thermoelectric (Peltier)

 technology. The AHP-301MSP includes speed control for the magnetic stirring.

 The system is an air cooled device and can be powered with 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz power.

 When not used as a stirrer it can double as an Electric Ice BucketTM keeping samples cool or hot with

  Dairy Product Quality Control

  A dairy cooperative cools milk samples using tecaLAB’s ICE-2000 with Thermal Lab Beads.

  The samples are stored in  the ICE-2000 before being put through a Quality Control process.

  The customer reports the samples are being held at 3C.

  NeoGraft FUE Hair Transplant

  Our customer calls the ICE-160 Electric Ice Trays a “dramatic improvement”. He uses several in his medical

  practice.  “We use the ICE-160 during the quality-control and graft-storage portion of our minimally-invasive

  hair transplant procedures. While hair transplant grafts are outside of the body, they are fragile and

  susceptible to damage from dehydration and other factors as they are separated from their blood supply.
  During this delicate phase of the hair transplant, the harvested follicular unit micrografts are now in a

  special physiologic holding solution at 4deg C using the thermoelectric ICE-160 before and after being

  counted and sorted and while they are awaiting implantation. This is a dramatic improvement over the use

  of traditional graft coolers using frozen water which need to be swapped out often during a long NeoGraft

  FUE hair transplant procedure.

  We are confident that this method of graft storage ensures maximum graft viability and helps us maintain

  exceptional results for our hair transplant patients.
